Homeopathic "overdose" in Brussels
Saturday, February 5, 2011, at 10:23 AM sharp, Skeptics will take an “overdose” of homeopathic products in front of the building of the European Parliament; place de Luxembourg in 1050, Brussels.
This is part of the worldwide “10:23” campaign to raise awareness about the fact that homeopathy simply does not work.
Why do we demonstrate in front of the European Parliament?
European scientists and skeptics protest in front of the European Parliament. They ask Members of the European Parliament to protect citizens of Europe and stop the encouragement of these useless products. According to various EU directives, homeopathic products can be sold as medication in the whole European Union without having to prove their efficacy - unlike procedures for real medication, which are only permitted (and correctly so) after passing severe scientific tests.
Schedule
